Sheila Bair is the former chair of the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC) and the author of Bull by the Horns: Fighting to Save Main Street from Wall Street and Wall Street from Itself. She is now senior advisor to The Pew Charitable Trusts and Chair of the Systemic Risk Council, a “private sector, non-partisan body of former government officials and financial and legal experts committed to addressing regulatory and structural issues relating to systemic risk in the United States.”
